It looks at all the detail of becoming a Puppy Friendly Practice, what that means for you as in your role and how it benefits your team, your practice as a whole, the puppy owners and all the puppies coming into your practice.  It walks you through the entire puppy client journey from start to finish and equips each member of staff to play their role in delivering the perfect puppy experience to all puppy clients in the practice.

Course Content

Module 1 : Introduction

A brief overview of the course and what you will learn.

Module 2 : Preparation

Everything you need to do to prepare for the puppy visit.

Module 3 : Delivering the Perfect Puppy Experience

This module looks at all the elements of the puppy client journey and how it can be made into the perfect puppy experience.

Module 4 : After the Puppy Visit

This module looks at what needs to happen at the end of the appointment and after the client has left the practice to provide ongoing support.


There are various short multiple choice quizzes within the course to help consolidate all that you have learnt. A 100% pass rate is required but if you get any incorrect you can go back and answer them again. Make sure you download the course workbook in the resources section. When your practice has submitted the relevant evidence and attained their Puppy Friendly status,  you will also receive a Puppy Owner Handbook to give to all your puppy clients summarising the puppy chat and other helpful information to ensure they have the best results with their puppy and also the relevant instructions to help get them all enrolled on their free online training courses available to them.
